Paper marbling is a method of aqueous surface design, which can produce patterns similar to smooth marble or other stone. The patterns are the result of color floated on either plain water or a viscous solution known as size, and then carefully transferred to an absorbent surface, such as paper, fabric or wood.
In this class you will learn how prepare for marbling and make prints. We will also discuss colour and how to balance colours in printing. We will chat and have some snacks and each student will make a set of prints and colour palettes as well as all the info needed to set up at home.
Classes are in English but are very visual and hands-on so it's easy to follow along.
